The Aurea GT was drawn around a single number: the distance between Modena and the Atlantic coast. Everything else — the 780 kilometre range, the flat floor, the 2.9 second sprint that you will almost never use — follows from that brief.
Its body is a single-piece aluminium monocoque, bonded rather than welded, with the battery pack carrying structural load through the floor. The result is a car that feels dense rather than heavy, and quiet in a way that combustion never managed.
Chassis
Air springs with continuously variable damping read the road 500 times a second. Rear-axle steering shortens the wheelbase below 60 km/h and lengthens it above. Torque vectoring is handled at the motor, not the brake, so nothing is thrown away.
Four seats, properly. A 470 litre boot and a 92 litre frunk. It will take two people and their luggage across a country before breakfast, and it will do it without raising its voice.
