Drawn in clay. Bodied by hand.
Every surface on a Vantera is cut in full-size clay before a single panel is tooled. Four people put their hands on each body, and one of them signs for it.
Studio 2, Modena. A full-size Aurea GT buck, eleven weeks into surfacing.
Materials
Four hides per car.
The nappa is drum-dyed and cut by hand, so the grain runs the same way across the dashboard and the door cards. Stitch pitch is measured at seven per inch and checked twice. The trim strips are milled from solid titanium, then bead-blasted and brushed in one direction only.
